Same weight, different day.

I just got back from an hour walk using my Exerstrider poles.  Nice weather for a walk.  I was planning on just going out for about 30 minutes, but it felt so good that I made it a full hour.  I’m still eating better than I used to, but not really health foods.  And I’m eating less than I used to.  And I’ve been able to maintain my greatly reduced intake of Pepsi.

I’m feeling overwhelmed with a lot of things that are going on in my life, and I’ve been neglecting my walking and blogging, among other things.  But I’m still here, and I’m still at it.

Glad, to see that you are still blogging away. Been a bit busy at this end. So haven’t contributed much. Weighing yourself in the buff is a good thing and daily keeps it your mind on your wieght loss goals. Your doing just great.

There is Cron, telling you to drink more water, as I have been badgering you too…LOL!! And less of that Pepsi crap….there is nothing good in it. Look at your next can of Pepsi and repeat these words….”Pepsi is full of sugar and CRAP” Get that thought inside your head. Because if you are honest, it has been was has contributed (along with other things) to your weight gain over the years.

What is your diet like, because you are saying that you are eating less of the bad stuff. That’s not a good thing….you need to be eating more of the good stuff to keep the hunger pangs away and less like to snack. (Here speaketh the voice of experiance.) I am too prone, when hungry to go make a nice sandwich with stodgy bread….that has to stop. So I have been bulking up on All-Bran and strawberries and banana’s, in the morning and lovely homemande soups made with lots of vegetables.

My water intake is quite good. So what is the water situation like for you? Has it improved yet?

I enjoyeed your radio broadcast too. Thought it was brilliant and you were far more entertaining than the presenters….LOL

You take care and keep going on….we are still rooting for you. My other half even reads your blog now. She’s thinks its a great idea.

Yay! I’m glad you are weighing in the mornings like you are. That’s what I learned to do at Weight Watcher’s. Like Cron said, it minimizes the fluctuations as much as possible.
Glad to see the scale coming back down, too, that means you are making some good changes. Gordon is right, though..eating less of the bad stuff doesn’t mean as much if you are not eating more of the right stuff. We don’t deny ourselves ‘real’ food over here. If you don’t believe me you should check out our menu for the week on my wordpress blog. But we do keep things in moderation and in their correct portions. I have spaghetti or tuna alfredo, but I have one scoop (about half to 3/4 cup), and one slice of bread, alongside a generous green salad with moderate Caesar dressing and a big glass of water. It’s good because my body needs the protein, needs some carbs for energy, needs the veggies for vitamins, needs the water… and I get all the taste!! :)
Drinking water and coffee are two of my big tricks. I drink coffee with breakfast instead of juice or milk, and I drink water with my other meals. I make sure that I get enough calcium through cheese and yogurt in my meals. Once I am done eating my allotted lunch or supper I down a big glass of water. It helps me feel full so that I don’t continue to eat more than what I need.

Anyway, keep up the good work!
