Plus, it makes your head rotate 360 degrees

posted in Alli, General |

Have you heard about Alli, the latest craze in weight loss fads?  It’s pronounced like “ally”, and it’s apparently flying off the shelves all over America.  And that’s despite the side effects, which include powerful, loose stools.  And gas with “an oily discharge.”  The manufacturer even recommends that users wear dark pants and bring a change of clothes to work with them.  That’s nice.  Ewww - what’s that smell?  Did Jane just lose another pound?

I think I’ll skip this fad.  I need more friends, not fewer.

That’s just…nasty. No thanks, I’ll stick with Weight Watchers and lose my weight the slower, more socially acceptable way.

Ha! You can get the same side effects eating a bag of sugar free candy!!!! And it’s cheaper!

I am still looking for a good deal on 3XL Huggies Diapers. Maybe I can find adult underoos while I am shopping. (no offense intented to those that love their spiderman underwear or have “real” health issues that require diapers)

Nothing happens overnight and it takes a lifestyle change. I also read on their site that if you gain the weight back you should begin taking the medication again. Just reduce fat intake and pass on alli.

Wow, it reminds me of the Olestra debacle from a few years ago. I know we are all desperate to lose weight and keep our eating habits the same, but it doesn’t seem possible. I tried some carb blockers over the weekend and guess what? The food I ate made me gain weight! Carb blockers didn’t do a darn thing. Same with Alli, I bet. Blocking 1/3rd the fat absorption isn’t going to do much at all if people gain a false sense of security. It hurts to admit it, but weight loss isn’t gonna happen for free. It has to be paid for dearly through tolerating cravings and overcoming temptations.

[…] Other news:  I was in WalMart today, and saw a display of Alli, which is the latest over-the-counter weight loss drug to hit the market.  Apparently, it’s quite popular right now.  I’ll just quote from Greg Todd to describe this stuff to you: Have you heard about Alli, the latest craze in weight loss fads?  It?s pronounced like “ally”, and it’s apparently flying off the shelves all over America.  And that’s despite the side effects, which include powerful, loose stools.  And gas with “an oily discharge.”  The manufacturer even recommends that users wear dark pants and bring a change of clothes to work with them.  That?s nice.  Ewww - what’s that smell?  Did Jane just lose another pound? I have used Alli for the past 3 months, had none of the side effects, HELLO just stick to your plan, LIKE IT TELLS YOU. I have had great success with this plan, losing 33lbs., so far and learning a new way to eat. I have 1 relative and 2 friends doing just as well with no side effects.
