I read and like your blog, but this is the first time I have posted a comment. I hate gyms, and I hate driving to them even more. I used to live in the midwest and walking outside wasnt really a good option. Too hot or too cold, or bugs, or like in your case dogs !! So I bought a treadmill and I got in to the mode of walking on that. Not to mention the time spent driving to the gym could be added to your walking time. Plus the cost of the gym adding up over time would pay for the treadmill. Although lots of people are movtivated by the fact that they pay the membership and also like being amongst other poeple. But its something to think about. Good luck with your continued exercising and weight loss.

Kudos for finding a solution that you can live with, even if it's not the most convenient.
